Symbolic Play

People who have a difficulty with the Theory of Mind may display the following characteristics:

1. May lack creativity or imagination (or play may be repetitive): In order to have representational play, one must be able to switch one’s attention and simultaneously hold two separate scenes in one’s mind. Before I learned the Theory of Mind, I could reenact a situation, but true symbolic play was not something that I enjoyed.
