This is a picture of a flowchart showing the sentence "This is a cake I baked for company" at the top of the page and the thought process and images generated by this sentence. The words "baked" and "company" created multiple images. For example we see a line drawn from the word "baked" to the first thought process. The first image generated is "Picture of a potato chip bag at the grocery store - Baked, not fried.
Next, from that first image is a line drawn to "(Picture of the grocery store) Need to go to the grocery store". Following that is another thought in this chain, "(Picture of grocery store) Last time I was there I bought hamburgers." From that we move to "At Fudrucker's restaurant I ate hamburgers with Laurie." And so on.
In a similar way, there is a line drawn from the word "company" to several other thoughts and images. Throughout the flowchart, some of these chains of images are interconnected when they have ideas or words in common. In this example, the word "mother" appears in two separate images that branch off of the word company.
